About this organisation
Upstream Foods is developing a novel fat ingredient to uplevel seafood alternatives. Fat is what makes seafood, taste like seafood. That is why the team is using cell-culture methods, to make the tastiest fats. The ingredient is added to a protein source and brings complex flavors, oily mouthfeel, and health benefits that people love about traditional seafood. With a small amount of cells, we can have a big impact on the quality of the product.
