Energy management in career decisions
Date & Time: 2 April 10:00-11:30
Location: Forum, 031+034 (the rooms behind the IT service point on the ground floor)
Find out how to make career choices by feeling, in addition to thinking and acting. Ratio (thinking) often determines your decision making. How about what your feelings tells you?
During this workshop, you will learn how to recognize body signals and how to incorporate these signals in taking career decisions.
A nice opportunity for anybody who wants to learn more about taking balanced decisions, based on thinking and feeling!
Some of the questions we we will touch base on are for example:
- How to recognize your enthusiasm
- How to recognize what work environment fits you best
- How to define your borders
- How to deal with rejection
At the end of this workshop:
You will have more insight about your personal career decision skills, how to use these skills and what still needs some attention to work on during your career decision journey.
Preparation for this workshop:
- Bring something to the workshop (any item you want) that gives you energy, evokes your enthusiasm and is related to “Yes”
- Bring something to the workshop (any item you want) that causes resistance, evokes demotivation and is related to “No”
Follow up session:
A week after, we will have a short, online follow up session on Tuesday 8th of April from 12:30-13:00. We offer you the possibility to practise with your Yes and No feelings in the week in between.
And share your outcomes.
PS: This event works with a first come, first serve basis. So be sure to be there at time, there are only a limited amount of spots available.
